Be Part of Melville 130

Calling All Artists, Musicians, Storytellers, Makers & Creatives

In October 2026, Melville turns 130 years old.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re bringing together the people who make Melville what it is — the artists, performers, creators, thinkers, makers, musicians, historians and storytellers who continue to shape the suburb’s cultural identity.

We are inviting contributors to help create a celebration that is uniquely Melville.

We’re Looking For:

Visual Artists

Painting, photography, sculpture, illustration, installation art, murals and public art.

Musicians & Performers

Bands, solo musicians, choirs, DJs, spoken word artists, dancers and performance artists.

Writers & Storytellers

Poets, journalists, authors, oral historians and storytellers.

Historians & Heritage Enthusiasts

People with knowledge, archives, collections, research or stories about Melville’s past.

Makers & Exhibitors

Community Organisations

Schools, NGOs, community groups and cultural organisations.
